    Goals & Action Plan 

    2024 Goals 

    • Increase membership by an average of at least one member per month.  Increase participation in chapter activities (100% engagement).
    • Provide programs and resources to the membership and community in areas of human resources, personnel-related issues, and professional sessions (minimum of four per year).
    • Encourage and support members with interests in certification (minimum of one per year) or recertification (all available), by providing continuing education resources, and support in areas of study groups and/or financial support.  All programs offered will seek to meet the requirements for professional certification continuing education credits.
    • Identify at-large members and founding members to recognize and record the history of chapter management, as well as bolster local membership (quarterly membership reports from national).
    • Promote SHRM to student chapter members in the areas of continuing education, professional support, and participation in all chapter activities (ongoing).
