About Us
Located in Southwest Montana, the Continental Divide Chapter is a flourishing group of HR professionals striving to advance themselves as well as the HR profession.
January starts a new membership year for our chapter.
Mission Statement
The Continental Divide Chapter mission is to support Southwest Montana communities with human resource needs and wants; elevate the profession to the highest standards; and provide education, industry updates; and foster connections among the human resource professionals.
2024 Goals

Increase membership by an average of at least one member per month. Increase participation in chapter activities (100% engagement).

Provide programs and resources to the membership and community in areas of human resources, personnel-related issues, and professional sessions (minimum of four per year).

Encourage and support members with interests in certification (minimum of one per year) or recertification (all available), by providing continuing education resources, and support in areas of study groups and/or financial support. All programs offered will seek to meet the requirements for professional certification continuing education credits.

Identify at-large members and founding members to recognize and record the history of chapter management, as well as bolster local membership (quarterly membership reports from national).

Promote SHRM to student chapter members in the areas of continuing education, professional support, and participation in all chapter activities (ongoing).
